Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello 105th Anniversary: beneath the new colours

Image
AUTUMN LAUNCHES · MOTO GUZZI Moto Guzzi's V100 Mandello 105th Anniversary edition - because 5 years matter. Covered in EICMA's current news , the occasion also marks the opening of the rebuilt Mandello del Lario factory complex, with its museum and visitor spaces - a marketing exercise, but is the bike any good? 105th Anniversary finish · Photo: Moto Guzzi The new treatment is pearl-grey paint, yellow detailing and 105 graphics on the tank and rear wheel. The seat has yellow stitching and an Eagle motif. From October 2026 through the end of 2027 you may be able to order one, given that you have not bought the 100th Anniversary Edition?... Underneath the existing V100 platform a liquid-cooled 1,042cc transverse V-twin, 115 hp, 105 Nm and no drive chain. 17-inch wheels and 17-litre tank make this a road bike for cafe racers, not somebody serious about using bike for fun. Panigale V4 2027: how many times can the benchmark move?

Image
AUTUMN LAUNCHES · SPORTSBIKES Ok, so the Japanese playbook is finally in Italy. Ducati has updated the Panigale V4 for 2027. Power is up by 2 hp (to 218 hp but who cares). Revised intake, exhaust and lubrication systems,  updated final gearing, with a 15,000 rpm limit in second through fifth gears (and others?). Panigale V4, model year 2027 · Image: Ducati The frame has 12% less lateral stiffness (true Japanese style, the difference is they used to get it spot on). Ducati says the changes improve tyre contact at lean. Sure. Japanese did it in 1999. Dynamic Engine Brake and Race Brake Control revise the electronics, while the V4 S gets adjustable clip-ons. Japanese did not have those. Now they do, but where do you use them? An average improvement of 0.4 seconds at Vallelunga against the previous model is either an AI fake or a failed attempt to understand what 0.4 seconds is.. Panigale V4, model year 2027 · Image: Ducati The name has been doing laps for fifteen years. Ducati an...

Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour: touring equipment as standard, failed Amazon TV show not included

Image
AUTUMN LAUNCHES · EICMA PREVIEW Ducati's new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is a V4 touring with luggage and comfort added to it. The name is either a successful dig at the failed formerly-successful TV trio, or a miscalculation. 1.158cc engine makes a claimed 170 hp, but with the looks as seen, who cares: Image: Ducati Standard equipment boasts side cases, heated rider and passenger seats, heated grips, tyre-pressure monitoring and radar assistance. Impressive. NOT. BMW did it in 2007. The suspension can lower the bike by up to 30mm at low speeds - suspiciously familiar to the new Triumph Tiger. Reusing components, much? A centre stand is also included. Enough said... Image: Ducati Announced on 1 October, the Grand Tour is a touring specification of the Multistrada V4 S stealing a trademarked name from a car show on Amazon. Hope the 30mm height reduction will help one of the two former Grand Tour TV show hosts who still enjoy motorcycles to get on with it. Sources: manufacturer...

We ARE ONE

10 years ago We are travellers in this universe, and we chose to be free. Let us all be united under one goal - positive action for humanity and enjoyment of life. We will be appreciating the souls who chose to travel in this blog and explore FREEDOM as the main mode of living this life. While the specific journeys take place, more people are striving to experience the same - we would like to appreciate and be the intermediary for this, collecting all experiences in one website. For now we begin with our own journey, and, rest assured, this took decades to get to where we can help others. We ARE ONE
